Breaking News: Obama to conduct first nation-wide test of the Emergency Broadcast Network

November 2nd, 2011

The first-ever national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, November 9 at 2:00 pm

“During the test, which all broadcast TV and radio stations as well as cable and satellite networks in the United States are required to carry, President Obama will read a message lasting up to three minutes. Anyone in America watching a television broadcast or listening to a radio station will see or hear the same message, which will include the familiar words, “This is a test.”

Michelle Obama on campaign trail: Maligned Angry Black Woman or ‘the Few at the top’?

Angry Black Woman?

In the 2008 campaign Michelle Obama presented her self to the world as some what of a victim of oppression by a “downright mean country,” who apparently rose from poverty despite forces of society struggling to keep her downtrodden.

We all recall her “for the first time in my adult life I’ve really been proud . . .”  frankly that comment turned my stomach.

To her, the country has not progressed beyond slavery, never mind overcoming the civil rights struggles of the 1960′s.
